Tamara Henderson: Tapped out and Spiraling Inside

Artist's book design for Tamara Henderson's 2014 exhibition *Tapped Out and Spiraling in Stride* at Grazer Kunstverein, Graz, Austria. Henderson's practice is built around the documentation of dreams and hypnotic states, translated across texts, books, drawings, prints, films, furniture, and paintings. Her books function as both dream diaries and screenplays—source material for films in which animated objects move through a reconstructed unconscious. Everyday objects from her studio and apartment reappear estranged, caught in the moment between sleep and waking.
